ABOUT
BIPOC Outdoors Twin Cities came to be during the summer of 2020. With our cities on fire following the murder of George Floyd, the need for community healing was deep, and one of the best ways to do this was in nature with one another. From humble and scrappy beginnings, there is now a robust BIPOC Outdoors community here in the Twin Cities. We hope this website can serve as a landing page for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color who are looking to connect with local BIPOC folks and organizations who are leading BIPOC Outdoors programming. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, please let us know.
BIPOC Outdoors Twin Cities is a Facebook group and a grassroots community that is made up of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color in the Twin Cities. We receive various forms of support from private grants, personal donations, and local partner orgs.
